Neighborhood support with a twist – Our neighbors from Steinstraße in Munich, the Burger Landschaftsarchitekten, were commissioned by the Munich Department of Construction to create 3D models of an underpass. The project involves the underpass at the Fasanerie S-Bahn station, which has become well-known due to the daily traffic jams at the level crossing.
This is where the Panda Pictures team comes in: We were on-site with our drone to capture high-quality aerial images. These served as the foundation for the architects, who used the footage to develop the 3D versions proposed to the Department of Construction and the local residents.
The version shown in the image is an open, funnel-shaped underpass. A large, wide staircase leads down to the center of the underpass, while a ramp for strollers and wheelchair users is located on the side. This design has received a lot of positive feedback. However, it remains unclear how much longer the city's project will take.
This project is a great example of how even a small effort can yield fantastic results. Besides, neighbors are always happy to help each other out!
