EDITING

Where the magic happens.

No matter how well the shoot goes, how impressive the footage is, or how clever the concept: your film only truly comes to life in the edit. This is where the magic happens. Film editing is responsible for shaping the story your project is based on and ensuring that the continuity of the scenes is consistent and realistic.

Editing is not just about structuring and sequencing footage; it’s about refining it to bring the story to life. This means that the final style of your film is determined in the edit. Depending on the montage, a wide variety of film genres and styles can be conjured from the same raw material.

POST-PRODUCTION

From rough cut to final cut.

The first step in editing is reviewing and sorting the recorded material and creating a rough cut. For this rough cut, our editors follow the pre-created storyboard or the general objectives and focus of your film project, depending on the requirements.

In some cases, such as with event or commercial films, our editors are on-site with their mobile editing stations to assemble the material into a rough cut immediately. Only after the rough cut is complete do we move on to the final cut, where the material is reviewed and optimized frame by frame to shape the final storyline. In the final cut, the style of your film is created through rhythm, transitions, and pacing.
