THE POWER OF PREPRODUCTION

We are prepared for anything.

Once we have finished our research and shaped the film concept, and the final plan is in place, we move into the preparation and planning phase. During pre-production, one of our experienced producers will take the lead and support you throughout your entire film project. We then think through and plan the execution of your idea down to the smallest detail to ensure your budget is used optimally. For narrative projects, this is also where key creative decisions are made. We work with you to determine your cast, select locations, and define the production design for your film.

Challenges:

  • the best shooting schedule
  • your perfect cast
  • the ideal location
  • the right voice
  • stunning sets
  • a seamless workflow
  • Films with SFX & VFX
  • Preproduction Meeting

PUT IN THE EFFORT AND YOU WILL BE REWARDED

Everything has to fit together.

The larger the project, the higher the demands on project management and pre-production. A great film only emerges when all the individual components fit together perfectly. This is most visible to you in casting and location scouting. Only through thorough casting can we find the perfect actor or model for your project. We are sure you love that moment as much as we do—when you suddenly see your cast and know: this is the one! We also select our locations with great care, as they must fit your world and your story, while giving us the space to execute what we envisioned in the concept. Sometimes, we also need production design to achieve the perfect look for the film.

Pre-production goes far beyond these steps. There are things you might see less of, but which are crucial to how your film turns out in the end. Can all filming permits be successfully obtained? How do we implement special effects safely? What does the perfect crew look like for the shoot? Ultimately, it is thousands of small decisions that come together to create your film.

The more love and thought you put into your project during pre-production, the better your film will be in the end. This applies equally to large and small projects—only the scale changes.
