SOS Children's Villages has been active for 60 years in Germany . To mark this anniversary, the organization approached Panda Pictures to produce a marketing film for this special occasion.
Filming in Lüdenscheid
In May, a Panda Pictures team consisting of a producer, director, cinematographer, gaffer, and camera and sound assistants traveled to Lüdenscheid to shootthe film. The resulting footage is fantastic and highlights the organization's incredible and, above all, highly diverse work.

Elements of the image film
The film aims to introduce viewers to the diverse range of services offered by SOS Children's Villages. On one hand, there are the well-known SOS families, into whose lives we were given a glimpse. However, the organization offers so much more to help children and young people. A nearby farm supports children of all ages through animal-assisted therapy, while the "Kindervilla" teaches important values like respect, tolerance, and appreciation, with a focus on the individual needs of every child. Additionally, young people can stay in assisted living facilities, where they learn to stand on their own two feet.
Moving images
The footage captured is moving and emotional. During the interviews , it was clear that some of the participants were close to tears because their work with the children means so much to them—after all, SOS Children's Villages is truly something special. Our director wrote a script that perfectly weaves these emotions and moving images into an engaging image film.

Here’s to the next 60 years!
We are delighted to have had the opportunity to complete another great project for SOS. Our team members had a wonderful time at the village, where they met many lovely people and worked together to produce a unique and emotional marketing film. We hope for many more successful years for SOS Children's Villages. We wish you all the best and look forward to our next collaboration!
