Welcome back to our #FlashbackFriday! We’re taking a trip down memory lane, heading back to 2015 and 2017, and would like to present our OHROPAX cinema commercial.
Ohropax saves relationships
Many women will find this familiar: a husband’s loud snoring makes it impossible to get a wink of sleep. The woman in our Ohropax cinema commercial is going through exactly that. Completely annoyed, she presses a pillow over her ears, but peaceful sleep is still out of reach. That’s a recipe for domestic trouble if ever there was one. But Ohropax sets things right! This way, your loved one won’t have to be banished to the sofa for the night in the future.
This humorous little story, told through visuals, fits perfectly into the entertaining and high-quality pre-show program at the cinema. In the Panda in-house post-production department, we used color grading to achieve the perfect cinematic look and ensured that the commercial met cinema standards. This cleared the way for it to be screened in the desired theaters. If you heard snoring sounds from other auditoriums during a cinema visit three years ago, they certainly didn’t come from the audience.
Panda Pictures wins Gold
Our cinema commercial was a complete success. Last year, we entered the OHROPAX cinema spot "Haussegen" (Domestic Harmony) in the Advertising – Cinema Commercials category at the World Media Festival and wonright away. With this spot, OHROPAX made its first foray back into moving images in 30 years and won Gold together with us! We’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you once again for the great teamwork!
Why cinema advertising?
Cinema commercials are simply part of the movie-going experience. Audiences sit comfortably in their seats, eagerly awaiting the film to come. There is no better way to reach a specific target group than through a cinema commercial, as viewers are highly receptive at that moment. Cinema advertising is perceived as part of the experience; there is no urge—and in some cases, no possibility—to tune out, skip, or zap away from the ads, and some moviegoers don't even want to miss them. Cinema commercials often succeed in eliciting a laugh or giving the audience goosebumps because the overall package touches them emotionally. This emotional impact is stronger than in a TV commercial , making it easier to leave a lasting impression on the audience.
You can find more benefits and information about cinema commercials on our homepage.
Finally, a big thank you to everyone who contributed to the project and helped achieve such an impressive result. We look back on it fondly and look forward to more #FlashbackFriday posts!
