The Unbeaten Legend
Challenge
If you love the open sea, enjoy the tranquility of nature, and are always looking for a real challenge, you are likely familiar with the Steiner Optics brand. For the major product launch of the new Commander marine binoculars, we were given a clear brief: create a breathtaking product film. The original plan was to solidify their position at the absolute top of the market and massively expand international brand awareness. But that wasn't all: the video production needed to both excite new customers in the marine world and convince loyal fans who already own the previous model to purchase the new version. The company also wanted significantly more reach and engagement across various social media channels. A truly mammoth task that required a deep understanding of a very demanding target audience and excellent visual storytelling.

Solution
As a full-service film production company, we handled the project entirely in-house, from the initial concept and creative development to the final edit. Filming on the open sea presented us with entirely new organizational and technical challenges. Where could we find the perfect combination of untouched nature and an epic lighthouse all in one location? And how do we capture the raw power of the waves from a sailboat in a way that leaves the viewer breathless? To overcome these hurdles, we deliberately chose the DJI Ronin 4D for the shoot. This camera system provided the stability and flexibility we needed on the swaying boat to perfectly capture the gripping maritime scenes. In the subsequent post-production, we refined the footage into a truly immersive experience. The final outcome is "The Unbeaten Legend" – a powerful main film that, along with punchy short versions and high-quality stills, performs at its peak on the website and across all platforms.

„With this product film, we are not only securing our global market leadership but also creating extremely strong international purchasing incentives for a high-caliber target audience."
