CHALLENGE
The Bavarian Supreme Audit Office, or ORH for short, is an independent supreme state authority. Its mission? To audit whether tax money is being used wisely and debt brakes are being observed—a vital contribution to intergenerational equity and public trust in the state. But how do you make such serious, complex work tangible for new talent? The ORH approached us with the goal of creating a modern recruitment film with a maximum length of three minutes to position the authority as an attractive employer. The brief covered the full scope: from concept and filming to final sound design. The biggest challenge in this film production was to authentically convey the complexity of the authority, speak directly to the target audience, and avoid coming across as a classic, dusty institution.

SOLUTION
To show the ORH team as approachable and genuine, we handled the entire pre-production and creative development for this video production . Our approach: No memorized scripts. Instead, we let the employees speak directly in front of the camera. With targeted, sometimes spontaneous questions, we drew out the most honest answers. To make this authentic atmosphere palpable for you, we intentionally kept small, charming moments in the video—a mischievous smile or a slightly nervous shift in a chair is what truly makes a team human.
During the shoot itself, we faced a technical challenge: we arrived with a small crew and had to contend with extreme backlighting on-site. Using our in-house lighting equipment and a suitable backdrop, we were still able to light the interview setting perfectly and cleanly. A cool, subtle detail: we matched the blue background light seamlessly to the ORH corporate design using precise XY values.

Post-production required a real delicate touch. The edit had to shape a coherent, flowing story from many different interview takes, conveying all of the client's key messages. To make the storytelling even more polished, we integrated a professional voice-over alongside the original sound bites: an experienced narrator now ties the entire video together, perfectly connecting the individual statements.
To visually enhance the locations, our graphic designer also created and fluidly animated a map of Germany. The project received its final polish during color grading. After reviewing several options, the client chose a modern teal and orange look, which we applied consistently throughout.
From the strong footage, we also cut three shorter, punchy social media reels in addition to the main film. The result is an authentic, visually compelling recruiting package that shows you immediately across all channels: this is the ORH of today.
„It was a fascinating shoot for me and a great experience to get a look behind the scenes of a state authority."
