Challenge
Since 2014, RECARO Child Safety has been working in collaboration with Panda Pictures on product and installation films , but this RECARO Child Safety – Childseats Save Lives product film is something special. The film isn't just about explaining or advertising the product or its features. We placed the product in the context of a current topic to highlight its importance. Safety, driving safety, and above all, safety for the youngest among us while on the road, are incredibly important. After all, they cannot look after their own safety and must rely entirely on their parents in this regard.
Solution
When it comes to this topic, there is, of course, no way around the ADAC crash test . To incorporate striking footage into the final film, we used six high-speed cameras to capture 1,500 frames per second of the realistic dummies. Since we had a baby on set for another scene, an ambulance was on-site at all times to ensure the baby's health and safety. Furthermore, the baby's time on set was limited, so we had a tight schedule that had to be strictly followed. Sophisticated editing and a fitting sound design ultimately ensured that this unique product film, RECARO Child Safety – Childseats Save Lives, turned out so well.
