Challenge

The question often arises: what is the simplest and most understandable way to explain content? Should you use a 2D animated explainer video with a voiceover, or is it better to rely on live-action footage where information is conveyed through both visuals and audio, using voiceovers and interviewees?

We say: why limit yourself to just one option? You can take advantage of the benefits of both to ensure the content is communicated as effectively as possible.

To provide manufacturing industry clients with real solutions to current challenges, Deloitte uses the Now Platform for Manufacturing Industry Solutions. Full supply chain transparency is made possible by ServiceNow's Connected Supply Chain platform.

Solution

We explained these topics through interviews , with film footage used to further illustrate the subject matter and support the spoken content.

The complex content is also addressed in a 2D animated explainer video. This illustrates how supply chains become more efficient and transparent through the Connected Supply Chain solution based on the ServiceNow platform.

To convey the topic as simply and engagingly as possible, the explainer video uses a consistent color scheme, clear animations, and upbeat music. The narrative is tied together by a voiceover artist who features in both videos.

In short: a great example that it doesn't always have to be an "either-or" choice!
