E-Rickshaw
Challenge
It is now widely understood that e-mobility is essential for the future. E-mobility is also categorized under the umbrella of sustainability, a concept that has gained increasing relevance over the last few years. Audi is committed to making a contribution, which is why the Audi Environmental Foundation is working on various projects focused on sustainability.
We had the opportunity to document one of these projects and present it on film. The project focuses on redefining the rickshaw, a traditional yet outdated mode of transport.

Solution
The goal is to transform the rickshaw into an e-rickshaw, giving a new purpose to the electric motors from retired prototypes. The project was placed in the hands of apprentices at the Neckarsulm plant, allowing them to significantly enhance their knowledge and experience in the field of e-mobility through hands-on practice. The project supported not only the apprentices in Neckarsulm but also a team in Bangalore, India. Both teams shared a common goal: to give sustainability and mobility a new lease on life.
When building the e-rickshaw, it was important not only to repurpose batteries and motors but also to reuse and recycle as many components as possible. Furthermore, the project aims to promote the independence of Indian women by creating more job opportunities as e-rickshaw drivers.
For this fantastic project, in addition to the corporate film, a teaser for social media , we also produced a background video for the Greentech Festival. For instance, no music was used, which places an even stronger focus on the visuals.
