Applied Sciences
Challenge
The Mainz University of Applied Sciences, which has operated under this name since 1996 but traces its origins back to the "School of Painting and Sculpture" in the 18th century, is dedicated entirely to the applied sciences.
We produced two films for the university to highlight its unique offerings and visually capture its modern facilities. In 2020, Mainz University of Applied Sciences hosted a "Virtual Info Day" featuring a wealth of creative ideas and innovative formats. Prospective students looking to learn about the diverse range of degree programs, participate in individual consultations, or attend lectures on specific topics could enter a virtual space on the university's website filled with discovery. The spectrum ranged from online lectures, virtual exhibitions, and film presentations to online portfolio consultations for design programs and live video chats.

Solution
For the film, which completely avoids voice-over narration, our goal was to provide a comprehensive impression for all potential students. With dynamic music and varied visual impressions, the film is designed to immediately spark interest.
In our second film, we took a closer look at the School of Business , which is truly impressive with its more than 3,000 students.
"Individual, innovative, international, and practice-oriented" – these are the guiding principles of the film.
For the image film we handled the concept, the Shooting and also the post-production of the image film for the Department of Business for use on the website and social media channels of Mainz University of Applied Sciences. The defined goal of the image film was to increase the national and international profile of the Department of Business and to attract new applicants and partner companies.
In contrast to the first film, which was intended to work primarily on a visual level and create an overall impression, our focus here was on capturing the voices of students and faculty. This allowed us to learn firsthand what makes studying at Mainz University of Applied Sciences so special.
