Challenge
Just in time for the most wonderful and reflective time of the year, we at Panda Pictures got to explore the culinary range at Feinkost Käfer and take a look behind the scenes. In a series of 7 films, we took a closer look at the magnificent gift setscurated by the various departments of the gourmet retailer, gaining fascinating insights from their department heads. The gift sets range from wine, organic products, and grilling to caviar, truffles, and special Christmas packages.
The packages were presented and described by the respective experts, who also provided background information on their specific areas. What is the organic share of the product range? What is the difference between white and black truffles? What is the best way to prepare for a winter barbecue? Questions like these were answered by the experts during the interviews as they showcased the individual items within the gift sets.
Solution
To ensure the interviews were not only informative but also a visual treat, we enhanced the product films with cutaway shots of the individual products and impressions from the respective areas. In addition, the content of each film is referenced within the intro and again in the outro. Animated lower thirds provide viewers with information about who is speaking. Consistent colors round off the visual identity and create a connection between the 7 videos.
The result is truly mouth-watering. It really makes you want to treat your loved ones to a culinary experience from Käfer.
